Only a Free Individual Can Create a Free Society
Only a Free Individual Can Create a Free Society revisits discussions heard as a child, within her family: radical left-wing activists in Frankfort (Germany). The text is based on a phone interview with a former activist from the German student movement in the 60s-70s and appears under various forms all along the film. How was freedom interpreted then and how is it now? Who can access it? What political and social structures should be implemented in order to create a free society? The dancers deliver the interview in a theatrical set, following the pace of a structured choreography.
