Parallèle joins forces with art-cade - Galerie des Grands Bains Douches de la Plaine, Le Château de Servières and Coco Velten to present the work of visual artists in the process of becoming professional artists.
For the 5th consecutive year, on the occasion of the Festival Parallèle 13, the partners propose an exhibition bringing together the selected projects.

Terms and conditions
This call for projects is addressed to visual artists who have graduated from art schools within the last 3 years. The work must be related to the proposed thematic, the medium is free (volume, painting, video, performance, etc).
The submission - consisting of a detailed portfolio containing a CV and a note of intention for the proposed project of a maximum of two pages (with iconographic elements, technical details and a production budget) - must be sent electronically to the address lareleve@plateformeparallele.com, before Friday 28 October 2022, at noon.
If it is not a new production, please specify where the piece is located, in order to anticipate possible transportation.
Particular attention will be paid to young artists from schools in the southern region.
Any submissions that are incomplete or arrive after the deadline will not be considered.
The projects will be studied by a jury composed of professionals from the sector. Its composition will be revealed on plateformeparallele.com.
Financial conditions
Each artist will receive a honorary fee of 250 €(incl. VAT) and a maximum of 250 €(incl. VAT) for production costs, upon presentation of proof.
Transport
Refund of a maximum of 120 € TTC for the selected artists who live outside Marseille - on presentation of train tickets.
Accommodation
Possibility of accommodation for selected artists living outside the Bouches-du-Rhône department - up to four nights, if necessary.
Calendar
- Submission of project by Friday 28 October 2022 at noon
- Announcement of the selection at the end of November 2022
- Exhibition from mid-January to mid-March, depending on the location
