Individuation is a dynamic process in the making. A link between the intimacy and the relationship to the world, prompted by the question: "who am I?"

The company l’Individu is mainly made up of former students from Cannes Regional School of Acting and works more often than not from texts written and directed by Charles-Eric Petit.
After a first residency in les Bernardines theatre, where Le Fruit de la Discorde was created in September 2005, then Le Di@ble en Bouche in 2006/2007. In 2008/2009, they staged Notre Dallas at le Gyptis theatre, a project based on the questions of legacy and collective imagination. A spin off, La Chambre de Sue Ellen, was created that same year and shown as part of Rencontres //02.

They perform in France and abroad, moving toward the repertoire. The artistic management is ensured by Charles-Eric Petit, in collaboration with Sabrina Fuchs, Guillaume Clausse and Yann Loric.

Bearing in mind how the theatre evolves and generates interactions, the company intends to initiate research laboratories so as to give rise to collaborations.

Searching – "being aware of the living like crystal which cannot crystallize" forces us to consider space as an ever-changing theatrical moment, where artists perform in accordance with what makes them special.

As the company endeavours to implement this approach, they have tried through four creations to establish their identity and undertake their projects.
